Lifetime Warranty for Manufacturing Defects

HARTI warrants this product against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship during its defined product lifetime.

For this warranty, the product lifetime ends after 200 uses or 5 years from the original retail purchase date, whichever occurs first.

One use means one complete occasion on which the product is heated or chilled and used.

This warranty applies only when the product is used, cleaned and stored according to the instructions supplied with it.

HARTI Lifetime Limited Warranty

HARTI (“we,” “us,” or “our”) warrants that each HARTI heating pad is free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for the lifetime of the product, subject to the terms below.

What is Covered
This warranty covers manufacturing defects only (defects in materials or workmanship that existed at the time the product left our control).

What is Not Covered
This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, improper care, or failure to follow the care and use instructions
  • Damage from exceeding the recommended microwave times or power settings
  • Damage from accidents, drops, or external causes
  • Any product that has been modified, altered, or repaired by anyone other than HARTI
  • Cosmetic issues that do not affect the product’s function

Product Useful Life
The expected useful life of a HARTI heating pad is 200 uses. After this period, the product is considered to have reached the end of its intended useful life. Claims for manufacturing defects that arise after the product has exceeded 200 uses are not covered under this warranty.

How to Make a Claim
To make a warranty claim, you must:

  1. Activate your warranty by completing the form on this page (or by emailing us at the address below) within a reasonable time after purchase.
  2. Contact us at harticare.com@gmail.com and follow any instructions we provide for inspection or return of the product.

If we determine the product has a covered manufacturing defect, we will, at our sole option, repair or replace the product. Replacement products may be new or refurbished and will be covered by the remaining portion of the original warranty period.

Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HARTI’s total liability under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the defective product. We are not responsible for any incidental, consequential, or indirect damages arising from the use or inability to use the product.

Consumer Rights
This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights that vary by province or territory. Nothing in this warranty is intended to limit or exclude any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws that cannot be limited or excluded by law.

Governing Law
This warranty is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
