Care Instructions

  • Removable cover: Machine wash cold, gentle cycle. Air dry or tumble dry low.
  • Inner oat bag: Do not wash or soak. Spot clean only with a damp cloth.
  • Store in a cool, dry place or sealed bag in freezer for freshness.

How to use

  • Heat therapy:Microwave the pad (with cover on) for up to 2 minutes. Shake gently and apply to target area.
  • Cold therapy:Place in a sealed plastic bag and freeze for at least 2–3 hours.
  • Always test temperature before placing on skin.

Local and well-made

This hot pack has Canadian oats inside instead of any kind of plastic, meaning that those who insist on environmentally friendly local options will be pleased.

I've used one from this brand before, but it was starting to get a little older and so I decided to opt for this replacement. I love the colours and summer motif. Other than that, it works very well. It's very helpful when you have cramps or an upset tummy.
I can easily recommend this!

Simple but well and locally made.

This is a nice heating pad (haven't tried using it as a cold pack), which is a bit different than the usual ones in that it's filled with completely natural filling (oats). It isn't smelly at all, has a nice soft and well constructed cover and it's big enough to drape around your neck no problem. I like that it's made of Canadian materials and also constructed in Canada itself - things that are worth paying a bit extra for in my opinion. It stays warm for quite a long time after only a minute in the microwave.

This reusable heating pad is perfect. I find the size to be good. The fabric is a nice flannel. Colors are nice and bright.

Filled with Whole Oats

Our company uses the whole oats containing all three parts of the grain - the germ, endosperm, and bran - which makes our heating pad much lighter than others while providing much better heat retention.

This filling has a great balance between being shapeable, with a bit of heft, and still being lightweight and comfortable.
